Lizzie Griggs created A-Go-Go Designs to allow her right brain to take over for a change. As a child of the 60’s, anything  “au go go” became a part of her DNA.

A solid TV diet of The Jetson’s, Get Smart, Adam’s Family, Batman, Gidget, Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie left a strong imprint of bright colours, way out design, high camp humour and the attitude that anything goes – the wilder the better!

Her designs reflect a lifelong love of anything 50’s and 60’s, but with a contemporary twist. These 'new vintage' designs are created with a love of colour and a sense of fun, which is carried into the naming of each print.

Experimentation with textiles is important both creatively and practically. At A-Go-Go Designs we have trialled both traditional screen printing techniques along with modern digital printing. Through this process we are able to achieve the brightest of colours, the cleanest lines and determine the most suitable fabrications.
